SRCD is planning its 2026 Special Topic Meeting, providing the opportunity for a more intimate convening and focused examination of a specific topic of interest to the developmental science field. One proposal, due on January 24, 2025, will be selected for 2026.

Call for Applications: Advisory Committee Members

We are seeking experienced and passionate advisory committee members for our Towards 2044: Horowitz Early Career Scholar Program, which supports scholars from under-represented ethnic/racial groups from North America who are pursuing graduate work in developmental science.  Application deadline: Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

SRCD Small Grant Awards Program

The Small Grants Program, where early career scholars can receive non-renewable grants of up to $7,500 (USD), is one of the SRCD offerings which reflect its commitment to support the scholarship of tomorrow's leaders and build the future of developmental science. The deadline for submissions is February 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Mentoring Early Career Scholars from Ghana and Colombia

SRCD and the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (ISSBD) were recently awarded 200,000 Swiss Francs from the Jacobs Foundation to support initiatives related to mentoring early career scholars from Ghana and Colombia in the areas of grant writing, research methodology, peer reviewing, and scholarly publishing.
